2022
Laying the Foundation of Compassion
DIASA WELFARE FOUNDATION came into existence with an aim of serving the society by organizing child welfare activities and promoting women empowerment and elder care. During this period, we celebrated the birthdays of these children hosted in our shelters, provided books and learning materials for their enhancement and ensured that they received a great time learning in the process. In addition, we reached out to these women through awareness programs while providing companionship and care to the aged living alone.
2024
Expanding Our Community Impact
As our outreach grew, we invested more efforts in social service activities including; education, skill training and welfare programs. Some of the activities achieved during this period include: providing education support to vulnerable children, celebrating different occasions with the children in shelters, encouraging skill acquisition among economically disadvantaged women and conducting health check-up and service programs for the elderly.

Building a Future of Hope and Empowerment
With more volunteers and donors DIASA WELFARE FOUNDATION is in a position to continue serving in a more organized manner. In this year we focus on providing quality education and career advice to children, empowering women through skill acquisition and offering medical services to the old and lonely. All these are done to create light at the end of the tunnel for our residents.

The Founder, Settlor Trustee & Secretary of DIASA WELFARE FOUNDATION, Mr. Sudip Das who is also a tech entrepreneur and Management Guru, owning several startup brands, has dedicated himself to serve for the people since his college days despite his round the clock busy schedule
He fondly recalls his experiences interacting with children in various orphanages, where he would mark their birthdays with joyous celebrations provide financial support for essentials. His desire to give back grew stronger and he has been taking various initiatives to contribute to shelter homes.
Since 2020, the founder’s vision has expanded into providing a hand of hope to not only underprivileged children, but also financially dependent women, and aged lonely people. He strongly believes that by empowering them through education, skill development, health care, and providing the much-needed opportunity, they turn into prosperous and self-reliant individuals.
Thus, DIASA Welfare Foundation was born with the sole purpose of igniting a “Ray of Hope” among society’s most vulnerable, believing that those often seen as liabilities of society can become its greatest assets when empowered through education, skill development, healthcare, and opportunity.
